Berit Janssen

Berit is a trumpeter, composer, educator and researcher interested in the impact of sound on the human mind. She studied jazz, systematic musicology and electroacoustic composition before turning to more explorations of new sound worlds during her time at STEIM, Amsterdam. In the past she has taught several workshops on sound and electronics. Currently, she works as a researcher on music and memory; knowledge which she is planning on applying in her artworks.
